One of the many things Rolonda loves about Atlanta is its thriving film and television industry. However, it wasn’t until after age 40 that she decided to defy the odds and follow through with her desire to act. She studied under professionals such as Nevaina Rhodes, Kristen Shaw, and Bill Duke, learning the business and the fundamentals of performing using the Meisner and Stanislavsky techniques.
Rolonda continues to develop her craft professionally in film, theater, print, and television.
Her latest on-camera work includes a recurring supporting role in social media’s megastar Comedian Kountry Wayne’s web series, a recurring leading role in Fred Hammond’s featured stage play and web series, Surviving Williams, supporting roles in the Pack Light Films, Anthology: Deception and First Date, and ScriptWork Productions web series, The Bottom.
